HYDROSEEDING
When conventional seeding & mulching is not practical due to access or terrain restrictions, hydro-seeding may fulfill your needs. Hydro-seeding is the process of combining specified quantities of seed, hydro-mulch, tacifiers, and other growth agents into a slurry.
Once these ingredients are mixed to the proper consistency, they are pumped through a fixed sprayer or handheld nozzle for application. A blanket of the mixture is applied directly over the prepared surface and adheres to the soil and/or slope. Unlike conventional seeding & mulching which is planted into the ground, hydro-seeding remains suspended above the soil in the hydro-mulch where it will germinate accordingly.
With proper care and maintenance, the hydro-seeded area will root and stabilize providing adequate ground cover and erosion control.
