The Seeding & Mulching Process and What You Can Expect
The Seeding and Mulching process begins with spreading the seed with a large calibrated broadcast sprayer.
Next, straw mulch is applied to protect the seed as well as retain moisture to help the seed grow faster.
Then the seed is rolled in using a cutting roller followed by a packing roller. This helps ensure the seed will not blow away and is planted in the ground.
Finally, in approximately two short weeks, the cover crop will begin to sprout as long as the weather has been favorable for growth.
